Trezor® Hardware Wallet - Quick Start & Login Guide

Step 1: Setting Up Your Trezor

Begin by unboxing your Trezor device. Make sure all items are present: Trezor wallet, USB cable, recovery seed card, and manuals.

            Important: Always verify that your Trezor device is genuine. Do not use devices from unknown sources.
        

Connect the device to your computer using the supplied USB cable and navigate to the official Trezor website for software setup.

Follow the on-screen instructions to initialize the device and generate your recovery seed. Write down your seed on the recovery card provided and store it safely.

Step 2: Logging Into Your Wallet

After setup, open the Trezor Suite application or web interface. Connect your device and enter your PIN to unlock it.

Tip: The PIN is never stored on the device. Each login generates a new PIN layout to prevent keylogging.

Once logged in, you can access your cryptocurrency accounts, send/receive transactions, and view your balances.

Always log out and disconnect your Trezor after use to maintain security.

Step 3: Security Tips

Maintain the highest security by following these practices:

Never share your recovery seed with anyone.
Always verify the website URL before logging in.
Use a secure and updated computer when accessing your wallet.
Consider enabling passphrase protection for additional security.

            Security Reminder: Losing your recovery seed means losing access to your funds permanently.
        

Step 4: Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Trezor device:

Check your USB connection and try a different port.
Ensure your firmware is up to date via Trezor Suite.
